Common Denominator

I still haven’t made a decision whether to get my Masters or just retake two classes while gaining experience…..

To help me decide which decision would best serve my overall goal (PT school), I decided to reach out to the schools where I didn’t get accepted into. I reached out to the admission department at:

University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Tennessee State University

Governors State University

I applied to over 10 schools, but after talking to these three schools I figured out why I didn’t get accepted. By the time I reached the third school, it was repetitive information.

I talked about this briefly in the previous post. But it didn’t click on me until today. There was one thing I heard from each of these schools that weren’t adding up to me. All of them said they had never received my GRE scores, which I thought was weird at the time because I sent them to each school. It was strange to hear it from multiple schools because if one school didn’t get it chances are the others schools didn’t receive it either. Rookie mistake.

I went back into my PTCAS application to the GRE section to notice that I didn’t submit my scores on the line, but my scores were sent over from ETS immediately after I took the exam. I assumed since I already sent them over I didn’t have to insert them through PTCAS. The only thing that I submitted was the date I took the test. Through all the troubles and efforts to make sure I did everything I completely looked over the GRE section.

Maybe it was meant to be like this. Now I was given a second chance to bring my scores up and prove to these schools that this is something that I want!
